The ESA funded project Pools of Carbon in the Ocean (POCO) will explore satellite algorithms to quantify the particulate, and possibly dissolved, pools of carbon in the ocean.
The work involves comparison of space-based results with those from ecosystem models, and validation of satellite algorithms against in situ data.

POCO results will be presented in the Living Planet Conference, Prague, Czech Republic from 9 - 13 May 2016.

Results from the project will be presented in one oral presentation and two posters.

We look forward to see you in Prague this spring!
